I was thrilled when Jen from From Matte To Metalic asked me to make these fabulous edible logo branded cupcakes for the launch party of The Vintage Cosmetic Company Ireland. Jen, who works alongside Ciara, are both brand ambassadors for this company and as they were very excited about the launch night, they wanted some yummy cupcakes to celebrate this beautiful range.

Have a look at some of the gorgeous brushes below……………………..I WANT THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!

The Vintage Cosmetic Company are a British brand that launched in 2010 in the UK hitting some Tesco Prestige stores and moved onto over 300 Boots stores nationwide. They have now decided to hit Ireland, which all the bloggers and makeup artists are delighted about as you can see the packaging is so enticing it would make any girly girl want to buy it. Vintage theme is still very popular and I personally can’t see it fading out any time soon, with make up brands, clothes, even cakes being made to suit it, Vintage is still very much the in thing. With the 50’s style décor, the personalisation of the eye lashes with fabulous names like Gracie, Nancy, Betty, and Kitty, I feel they have really adopted the 50’s theme perfectly!

Have a look here at the fantastic range of lashes which you can buy here.

The party took place in Clery’s Pharmacy, Dublin, where Jen and Ciara were doing their thing and working their magic by doing make up and lash applications for those who attended. Bloggers and make up artists enjoyed the night with some bubbly and our yummy cupcakes, they got to view the range of brushes and accessories that The Vintage Cosmetic Company sell and also they enjoyed meeting and greeting friends, old and new.

With the Vintage theme ever still popular, us cake decorators have taken a liking to it especially for wedding cakes. We have incorporated vintage hand made sugar roses, edible lace (which is so delicate and beautiful by the way!!), royal icing brush embroidery and also the naked cake! Here is some pics of wedding cakes made here at JensCoutureCakes

The vintage wedding cake is so popular that even celebs such as Glenda Gilson have opted for this stunning design. Have  look at her wedding cake below (from evoke.ie)

For The Vintage Cosmetic Company Launch, I opted to go for a silver metallic cupcake case, chocolate cupcakes and my ever so popular Madagascan vanilla bean buttercream. We coloured the icing pink to match the colour theme of their logo, and of course topped them with their printed edible logo. I fell in love with these cupcake immediately, look at how pretty they are…………..

And to finish off this post, I am delighted how much everyone loved them. Joan from The Vintage Cosmetic Company kindly emailed me to let me know that they went down a treat (pun intended lol) and the bloggers loved them so much that they said they were the best cupcakes they had ever tasted!!!!!

So if you are having an event or know of businesses planning launches, celebrations, etc, be sure to get in touch. I would love to talk branded cupcakes with you and plan your edible treats with you for your special event or occasion.

Hope you all enjoyed my post. If you attended the launch or like my post, please feel free to comment below, have a good night!

Jen ♥ xx
